Brand Marketing
POPLIFE builds brand programs from the strategic idea through to the thing people actually walk into. Twenty-five years of it, out of Miami and New York, for spirits, music, sports, fashion and CPG brands. If you need one partner who can develop the concept and then produce it at scale, that is what this is.
What we do
Brand strategy and positioning
Where the brand sits, who it is for, and what it can credibly own in culture. The work that decides whether everything downstream is coherent or just busy.
Creative and concept development
The idea, the world around it, and the reason anyone would care. We develop concepts that are built to be produced, not concepts that fall apart on contact with a permit office.
Program development
Turning a concept into a repeatable program: the format, the calendar, the market plan, the staffing model, and a budget that holds.
Execution and production
Venue sourcing, fabrication, permitting, staffing, logistics and on-site delivery, run by the team that developed the idea rather than handed off to strangers.
Measurement
Engagement, sampling, media and social outcomes, reported against what the program was actually for.
Proof
Diesel, White Box: a six-month brand home in the Miami Design District. 47 influencers, 13 national media placements, 12,372 people engaged.
sweetgreen: new restaurant openings built as a repeatable market-entry program rather than a series of one-off launches.
Maison Perrier: Pinta Art Fair and the Latin American Fashion Summit. 8K impressions, 67% conversion, 20+ partnership leads.
400 Conejos: a festival program at III Points. 19K consumers engaged, 5,700 sampled, 2.4M social impressions.
How we build a brand program
Most agencies split at the seam. One shop writes the strategy deck, another builds the thing, and whatever made the idea good gets lost somewhere in the handoff. We do both, which means the concept gets pressure-tested against production reality while it is still cheap to change.
In practice that means we ask what it costs and who staffs it in the same conversation where we ask what the idea is. Concepts that cannot be permitted, staffed or repeated get killed early, rather than surviving until someone has to explain the overage.
It also means the program is designed to run more than once. Something that works in one market and cannot be lifted into the next five is a campaign, not a program, and the second one always costs more than it should.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from experiential marketing?
Experiential marketing is one of the outputs. Brand marketing covers the strategy and creative development upstream of it, and the result can land as an activation, a retail program, a content engine, a partnership, or all four.
Do you work alongside in-house teams and lead agencies?
Often. We act as the local operator or production partner behind a program an in-house team or lead agency is directing, and we are comfortable in that role.
Can you do strategy without production?
Yes, though it is not where we are most useful. The value is in one team carrying an idea from concept through execution.
