The scope
POPLIFE was commissioned to support community engagement and build brand presence for sweetgreen’s new restaurant openings (NROs) across the Northeast.
The strategy
To boost awareness and differentiate sweetgreen in a competitive fast-casual landscape, we built a community-driven program — cross-promotional partnerships with neighborhood florists, beauty brands, wellness influencers, and nutrition-focused nonprofits to reinforce health, freshness, and the brand’s core values.
The solution
We executed a hyper-focused field-marketing strategy centered on new-customer acquisition, app adoption, and community integration — NPI sampling, on-site app education, and strategic partnership development to engage high-intent consumers and drive on-site conversion.
Results
- 16 events
- 4K consumers engaged
- 850 CRM acquisitions
- 30% net-new customer acquisition
- 47% had no prior app interaction
- 40+ long-term community partnerships
